I am currently vice-chair of the Tourism Association. We are really lucky to have some very dedicated officers and an enthusiatic committee, consisting of accommodation providers, restaurants and attractions. We have 280 members stretching over the boundaries of Monmouthshire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire – two countries, three counties.
We have a website of which we are very proud – which was designed and is continually being upgraded by Richard Maddrell of Vitalis - also one of our members. Richard also designed my website which I hope you will like.
Caroline, who is co-chief rabbit, and I, went on a course on blogging and related matters early in February, kindly provided by Capital Regional Tourism and run by the charming and knowledgeable Andrew Lloyd Hughes of www.trutourism.com. We will let members in on the secrets when we next have a meeting. However, we hope to persuade Andrew to come and talk to the group on a future occasion.
